Time after time, big companies perish when they fail to innovate in the face of disruptive technology. In 1997, Clayton Christensen’s book The Innovator's Dilemma forewarned this exact issue. Yet we’ve seen Borders, Toys R Us, American Apparel, and Compaq succumb to a slow death in recent years.
Well now I forgot so I guess I should relisten- but probably it was a no nonsense approach- demystifying money matters- some of the financial math up & down s makes my 👀 spin around and roll back in my head-- my dad passed this summer and I/ we had to grasp what to do with what he had- and he kept it hidden - he was paranoid and didn’t tell us- Depression era raised uprainging .... we found out about certain accounts because I had his mail forwarded to me. Then there was the episode with a lost key/ unknown Safety Deposit box - I was on it - I co-signed in 1993. Did I recall doing that ? No- I was afraid he still owned the laundromat he once owned🧏🏻♀️🙅🏻♀️🙀
